EPS: Eye Infection (Conjunctivitis) Consultation

Service Description

Funded pharmacist consultation for children aged 2-13 with suspected conjunctivitis, including antibiotic eye drops or ointment (chloramphenicol) if appropriate. Eligibility: children aged 2 to 13 years. Cost: consultation fee up to $20 (max $5 with a Community Services Card). Medicine is free for under-14s. Part of the Extended Pharmacy Services (EPS) scheme, in effect since 2 June 2026.
