EPS: Dehydration & Oral Rehydration (Children)

Service Description

Funded pharmacist consultation for children under 14 with diarrhoea, to assess for dehydration and supply oral rehydration solution if appropriate. Eligibility: children under 14 years. Cost: consultation fee up to $20 (max $5 with a Community Services Card). Medicine is free for under-14s. Part of the Extended Pharmacy Services (EPS) scheme, in effect since 2 June 2026.
